She has survived for one hundred and twenty years, but her future is not guaranteed. Magnificent works of art, woven from wool, cost a lot of money and are suitable for large representation halls. The tapestry workshop in Valašská Meziříčí is the oldest in the territory of the former Czechoslovakia and has survived both the economic crisis and changes in political regimes. In addition to restoration, it is one of the few in the world that specializes in converting modern paintings to tapestries. However, finding a buyer and also a place for such works of art is becoming increasingly difficult.
